Adopt Korean Rescue is a volunteer-based, federally-registered not-for-profit organization dedicated to helping homeless and unwanted dogs in South Korea find new loving homes in North America.
Many of their rescue dogs have lived in chains or cages, given birth on the side of the road, or wandered around aimlessly with their pups. Some of them may be caught, end up in meat farms or high-kill shelters in South Korea. Through AKR, many are fortunate enough to meet their forever families before euthanasia. The AKR volunteers are there to hold their paws and help them find their way to their loving homes.
